    The Design Review Commission is responsible for implementing urban design policies and principles consistent with the City's General Plan, Specific Plans, and Design Guidelines; promoting the highest quality of architectural design for the public benefit and the improvement of the City's community environment; balancing the rights of adjoining property owners regarding privacy, noise, light and air; and to ensure fair, equitable and consistent application of design standards in a timely manner.
