This last Monday, the Planning Commission approved three new items of business, which include:
A modification, a parking reduction and the approval of the medical condominium project at 330 East Las Tunas Drive
The commission heard three specific items about the project: a minor modification request to exceed the allowable floor area ratio by 3%, a parking reduction from the required 55 spaces down to 48 spaces due to the site’s proximity to mass transit, and a tentative tract map for a condominium subdivision. This tract map is a tool to subdivide the units for individual ownership.
- The staff report detailing this project can be found here on page 9.
The approval of a 10-unit condominium on 328 East Live Oak Street
A tract map is required to subdivide the units for individual ownership for the proposed condominium project. The scale of the new development will be designed to match the surrounding neighborhood and to meet development standards.
- More information about the project can be found on page 75 here.
A reduction in parking for a proposed 2,148 square foot restaurant on a 13,840 square foot lot at 132 West Valley Boulevard
The project is looking to reduce the number of required parking spaces from 22 to 18 because of the lot’s proximity to mass transit.
- More information can be found here on page 99.
All three items will be considered at a future Design Review Commission meeting as part of the Precise Plan of Design application that reviews the architectural style for each project. You may view the full agenda here.
