San Gabriel captured three statewide awards at the California Association of Public Information Officers (CAPIO) conference which was held last Wednesday night in San Diego.  

Former PIO Lauren Gold nominated San Gabriel for our City Beat newsletter; for our We Chat social media presence, the first city in the nation to use it; and for our Dumpling and Beer Fest promotions.  Members of the City's economic development staff and public information team joined Gold to receive the awards.  Congratulations to our communications staff for their efforts to provide more information to San Gabriel residents in a variety of models and multiple languages.
