The Community Services Department is offering an American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Course scheduled for Mar. 12 and Mar. 19 from 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m., with an online component to be completed prior to the class. A second session will be offered on Apr. 2 and Apr. 9.

Students may also enroll in the Water Safety Instructor (WSI) Training to be held on May 21, 28 and 29. With the WSI certification, students can teach American Red Cross swim lessons. An online blended learning class must be completed before the first training date.
