San Gabriel families can enjoy a fun evening full of entertainment at the Summer Nights concert and movie on July 14 at Vincent Lugo Park.
The concert will feature a performance by kid-friendly musical group Jelly of the Month Club, which describes itself as "fun family band and club that inspires ages 1-100 to celebrate timeless American musical traditions with jaw-dropping live shows that are entertaining, interactive and educational." The show is sure to be a hit for every member of the family. The concert begins at 6:30 p.m.
At dusk, attendees can stretch out on the grass and watch a showing of the hit movie "Minions" on the big screen. The movie begins at about 8:30 p.m.
In addition to the concert and movie, there will be plenty of other fun, including kids' carnival games, face painting, cotton candy, popcorn and a balloon lady.
The event is completely free and open to the entire community. For more information, contact Community Services Manager Tom Boecking at 626.308.2875 or tboecking@sgch.org.
