Some know it as “Monster Park,” others as “Dinosaur Park,” but no matter what they call it, locals know it as the perfect place to explore, play and imagine. La Laguna de San Gabriel, the magical land of sea creatures and monsters, is one of the most iconic sites in San Gabriel, and this Saturday the city will celebrate it at the second annual Play Day.

Last year, San Gabriel marked the 50th anniversary of the iconic La Laguna Playground at Vincent Lugo Park, and this year the city decided to keep the celebration going with an annual community event. Play Day is free to attend, and will include free lunch, kids’ activities and other family fun from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
