The City of San Gabriel in partnership with the city’s Human Equity, Access and Relations (HEAR) Commission will be hosting a free Mental Wellness Expo on Sunday, September 18 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Grapevine Arbor in the historic Mission District.
Residents and community members will be able to access mental health resources and information at the event. The afternoon will include workshops and presentations made by the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health in English, Mandarin, and Spanish. Topics covered include grief and loss, childhood anxiety and depression, and anxiety disorders. Attendees will also have a chance to participate in giveaways and other fun activities for kids and adults.
