The City of San Gabriel, in conjunction with the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, are sponsoring the next “Older American Recognition Day.”

The Community Services Department is soliciting input in determining San Gabriel’s Outstanding Older American. This program is designed to seek out and honor individuals who are 65 years of age and older who are actively involved in service to others in their community. To be nominated, you must: 

• Be an older adult, age 65 or older
• Not have been honored at the event in previous years; 
• Have performed outstanding volunteer service for the San Gabriel community.
