Come join the San Gabriel Police Department for its 25th annual National Night Out event on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. For the third consecutive year, the San Gabriel Police Department will be hosting the festivities in the historic Mission District located at 320 South Mission Drive between Broadway and Santa Anita Street. Here, Neighborhood Watch Groups and the entire community are invited to gather together for an evening of food, music, and fun.
Police, fire and military vehicles and equipment will be on display in addition to various public safety exhibits and demonstrations. There will also be City department informational booths, a live DJ, a bounce house, and games for the children, along much more. Members of the U.S. Armed Forces, City leaders, local officials and community group representatives will also be participating in the event. Bring your families, neighbors and friends and join us for a night of fun.
National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for, and participation in local anti-crime programs, strengthen neighborhood unity and police-community partnerships, and send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
