In a unanimous decision, the City Council approved a second amendment to an agreement with Civiltec to help fund work with Southern California Edison for the SCE Transmission Overhead Line Underground Project.
Previously, the City Council approved a $245,836.30 agreement with Civiltec to replace the sewer main and to reconstruct pavement along Del Mar Avenue between Chestnut Avenue and Dewey Avenue. In April 2018, the City Council approved the amendment with Civiltec to include curb ramp designs with an increase of $266,226.30. This amendment is needed to help fund work with Southern California Edison for the SCE Transmission Overhead Line Undergrounding Project.
Funding is available in the City’s budget, with $12,609.50 paid by the developer of the 101 West Valley Boulevard Project, who requested the SCE Overhead Transmission Line Undergrounding Project.
