It’s basketball season! This is a chance for your child to learn the fundamentals of sports, gain a sense of pride and sportsmanship, and enhance their basketball skills.
This program is for boys and girls in grades 1 thru 6. All teams in the league are co-ed and are open to all who would like to participate. This tri-city league consists of the cities of Duarte, Arcadia and the City of San Gabriel. All practices and home games will be at Jefferson Middle School. The San Gabriel Youth Basketball League will begin the week of December 10 and run thru March 23. Game days, times and the number of games may vary depending on number of teams. All participants will need to present verification of grade (enrollment verification from your child’s school) when registering. Registration is now open. Along with the San Gabriel Community Services Department’s normal business hours we have added three registration dates: November 19 from 6 to 8pm and on December 1 & December 8 from 9 to 11am at the Community Recreation Center located at 250 South Mission Drive in San Gabriel.
The cost will be $125 per participant, which will include the league fee and a jersey. There is no guarantee of placement on a team if not registered by December 21, 2018. All special requests will also need to be made at time of registration.
