In celebration of the fight against crime, the San Gabriel Police Department held its 35th annual National Night Out. A new Mission District tradition now in its second year, this year’s National Night Out featured appearances by several City departments. Residents and community members also had the opportunity to enjoy a free hamburger, hot dog or drink and mingle with their local police department to learn more about the men and women who serve the community.
However, the biggest hit of the night went to the event’s dunk tank, which featured City Manager Mark Lazzaretto, Police Chief Harris, Fire Chief Doehler and Community Development Director Arminé Chaparyan.
We’ve included several photos from last night’s festivities below. If you’d like to get involved with the San Gabriel Police Department – including opportunities to volunteer – be sure to visit their website here.
