From July 13 to July 27, Chang’an Restaurant will be participating in this year’s dineL.A., a 15-day dining event that presents Los Angeles as a premier dining destination by highlighting the diverse culinary experiences the region has to offer.
Chang’an Restaurant will be offering prefixed menus for lunch and dinner that feature dishes like tenderloin cubes, braised pork belly, and lamb shoulder skewers. Renowned food critic Besha Rodell from LA weekly stopped by this restaurant, noting that “some of the seafood here is exceptional, in particular, the house special cod dishes. The ‘special boiled black cod’ presents the silky, white-fleshed fish in a delicate milky liquid, with shiso punctuating the broth the way basil perfumes a Thai curry.” The ambiance – according to to Rodell – “looks as if it could be set in West Hollywood.”
Chang’an Restaurant accepts reservations via OpenTable or via telephone at 626.872.0906. In addition, walk-ins are also welcome. You may visit Chang’an Restaurant at 227 West Valley Boulevard #358.
