Community Services, in partnership with the California Telephone Access Program, will be offering a free hearing screening on June 25, 2018. The screenings will take place in the Padillo Room at the Adult Recreation Center located at 324 South Mission Drive.
The screenings will be from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., with the screenings taking approximately 10 minutes to complete. Screenings will be by appointment only and you can call 626.308.2875 to make a reservation. Spaces are limited so make sure that you call to reserve your spot today! A free phone will be available to all who qualify. There are a number of different types of phones to assist with hearing impairments. The hearing screenings will follow the older adult nutrition program, so be sure to sign up for lunch before your screening.
In addition, lunch is served daily courtesy of Intervale Senior Services/YWCA at the Adult Recreation Center, 324 South Mission Drive and is for adults 60 years of age and over. Reservation check-in begins at 10:00 a.m. with lunch promptly served at 11:30 a.m. There is a $3 suggested donation per meal, with a choice of American or Chinese menu options.
