In addition, the City Council approved several items on the consent calendar with a 5-0 vote, which include:
- Material demands from the Finance department
- Anomnibus ordinance that ratifies all ordinances adopted by the City Council in 2017. This ordinance addresses any potential gaps in the legislative process of enacting ordinances by reaffirming and ratifying ordinances that have already been approved by the City Council.
Finally, one item from the consent calendar was pulled for discussion:
- The second reading and adoption of Ordinance No. 640-C.S. that will move the city’s general municipal elections to the first Tuesday after the first Monday in March of each even-numbered year beginning in 2020.
