On April 24, the San Gabriel Police Department will be accepting expired, unused or unwanted prescription drugs at 625 South Del Mar Avenue from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in front of the police station. Unused medicine can be susceptible to diversion, misuse and abuse. Disposing unused medicine in the trash or down a toilet presents safety and health hazards.
