The City of San Gabriel requires all businesses operating in the City to pay an annual business license tax. Any person conducting any business, trade, profession, calling or occupation in the City must obtain a license regardless of the business's physical address. Please call (626) 308-2812 ext. 4612 for information on the requirements for obtaining a City Business License.

All 2023 business license renewals will only be processed online or by mail.
If your business has a change in name, ownership or address, please do not renew online and call the Finance Department at (626) 308-2812 to discuss next steps.
Before beginning the renewal process, please have your account number (business license number) and pin number ready.
To begin the renewal, select "Online Payments," select "Business License Online Renewal," then follow the instructions.
Only MasterCard and Visa are accepted for online payments. All credit card charges will have a 2.9% processing charge.

Please complete and sign the renewal form, attach a check payable to City of San Gabriel, and mail them to:
