Fleet Division manages the City's fleet of patrol cars, fire engines, rescue ambulances, passenger vehicles, SUVs, Light-Medium-Heavy Duty Diesel trucks, power equipment and emergency generators for maximum safety, efficiency and compliance with air quality and greenhouse gas emission regulations. The division performs preventative maintenance on a scheduled basis on all vehicles, as well as, numerous emergency and unplanned repairs. The division also purchases our fuel and prepares new vehicles for service, including retrofitting all first responder vehicles and non-emergency vehicles.
