Lunar New Year

The City of San Gabriel will welcome the Year of the Ox at the virtual 2021 San Gabriel Lunar New Year Festival in an online celebration on February 12, 2021. The 7th annual virtual San Gabriel Lunar New Year Festival will feature a video celebration, family game night and a community wishing tree.

In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s celebration will be virtual, allowing our community to celebrate the Year of the Ox in the comfort of their homes. Our video celebration will feature special messages from federal, state and local dignitaries, the San Gabriel City Council and a highlight of prior San Gabriel Lunar New Year celebrations. The video will debut on the City’s YouTube Channel on February 12 at 6:00 p.m.
