Information About Business Licenses

To promote physical distancing, 2021 business license renewals will be processed online through our secure renewal portal or by mail only.

Renewing Online

To renew online, please click here and select "Business License Online Renewal." You will need your account number, which is the same number as your business license number and your PIN found in the upper left hand corner of your renewal form. We accept MasterCard and Visa only, no electronic checks. There is no additional fee for using a credit card.

Please provide us with your email and website (if applicable).

Please do not renew if you need make any business name changes, ownership changes or address changes. Please call 626.308.2812 to discuss the changes and how to proceed with the application process.

Businesses Conducted by Vehicle

All businesses using vehicles on the job site or doing business by vehicle in the City (such as contractors, gardeners, food vendors, ambulances, taxis) are required to display a City of San Gabriel vehicle permit on the rear of their vehicles. One vehicle permit is included with the base tax and each additional vehicle sticker is $2.00. 

CAMTC Certificate Holders & State Licensed Providers 

All massage providers must provide proof of current CAMTC certification and all state licensed providers must provide current copy of their state license. Your state license/certificate can be attached electronically if renewing online. If you are mailing your renewal, please include a clear photocopy with renewal form and payment. Incomplete renewals will be returned. 

Massage Establishments, Salon Owners, Med Spas and Acupuncture and Chiropractic Offices 

Please complete employee roster form. If you choose to renew online this form can be attached electronically. If you are mailing your renewal, include the roster with the renewal form and payment. Incomplete renewals will be returned.

Licenses expire on December 31 and become delinquent February 1. Payment must be received on or before January 31 to avoid penalties. You are given the entire month of January as a grace period.
