Drive Thru Trunk or Treat


Friday, October 29
5:30 pm - 7:30 pm 
Playhouse Parking Lot

Registration is required. Sign up on our website, SGPRD.org | Course #7000.400
Registration ends 10/27 at 5pm. 

Stop by the Mission Playhouse parking lot to show off your spooky costume, gather some sweet treats and goodies. All items will be provided to the participants in a no-touch manner and all program areas will be sanitized.

Now featuring a live musical performance by the Smokin' Cobras! 

We encourage children to come dressed in their favorite costumes and show that Halloween spirit by decorating the exterior of your car.

In order to ensure the health and safety of all persons involved, participants are asked to follow the following guidelines:
  • Maintain in your vehicle at all times
  • If any of the windows on a vehicle is open, the occupants of the vehicle must wear a face covering when approached by City staff or community booths
  • Participants may not leave their vehicle for any reason

Virtual Costume Contest


All youth 12 years of age and under are welcome to enter the contest with their favorite costume. There will be three age groups, 4 and under, 5-8 and 9-12.

Within each age group participants will be able to enter themselves in one of the following categories:
  • Spookiest, Cutest
  • Most Creative
  • Home Made

Nightmare Before Christmas

Your safety and that of our staff is of the utmost importance. The City of San Gabriel is following County of Los Angeles Department of Public Health and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

We have modified our regular fall events and activities so that our residents can be together while practicing safe social distancing. Below are the measures that the City of San Gabriel is following to ensure the health and safety of all attending our fall activities:

  • While we hope that everyone is staying safe and can join us for these events, out of safety for all participants, we ask that if you are not feeling well, have known or suspected COVID-19, and/or have been exposed to a person with known or suspected COVID-19 that you not attend the event(s).
