Drive-in Movie- Hocus Pocus

Join us for a free screening of a Disney classic, Hocus Pocus. The movie starts promptly at 7:00pm. Cars may start loading in at 6:15pm.

To register please click here and utilize course # 7000.400. Resident registration begins on October 1 and non-resident registration begins October 12. PLEASE ONLY REGISTER FOR ONE TICKET PER  VEHICLE. 

The audio for the movie will be broadcasted through an FM transmitter (radio), so make sure you have a good sound system in your vehicle. Not to worry, if you don't have an FM transmitter in your car you can bring a battery-operated stereo with speakers to hear the movie. 

Virtual Costume Contest

All youth 12 years of age and under are welcome to enter the contest with their favorite costume. There will be three age groups, 4 and under, 5-8 and 9-12. Within each age group participants will be able to enter themselves in one of the following categories: Spookiest, Cutest, Most Creative and Home Made.

Drive-thru Trunk or Treat

Splitting off from our annual Fall Fun Festival, parents will be able to drive their children through the parking lot making stops at community groups who will be passing out candy and other goodies. In order to partake in the event please enter off of Broadway and exit off of Mission Drive (right turn only). 

We encourage children to come dressed in their favorite costumes and show that Halloween spirit by decorating the exterior of your car.

Your safety and that of our staff is of the utmost importance. The City of San Gabriel is following County of Los Angeles Department of Public Health and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

We have modified our regular fall events and activities so that our residents can be together while practicing safe social distancing. Below are the measures that the City of San Gabriel is following to ensure the health and safety of all attending our fall activities:

  • While we hope that everyone is staying safe and can join us for these events, out of safety for all participants, we ask that if you are not feeling well, have known or suspected COVID-19, and/or have been exposed to a person with known or suspected COVID-19 that you not attend the event(s). 
  • Staff and participants are required to wear cloth face coverings while participating in these activities, except while eating/drinking.
  • For the drive-in movie, we ask that:
    1. All participants always stay within your vehicle;
    2. There is no congregating outside of your vehicle; 
    3. No lounge chairs outside of vehicles allowed at any time;
    4. If you must step outside of your vehicle, we ask that you continue to practice social distancing and wear your face mask or covering;
    5. Additional guidelines for viewing can be viewed at the time of registration.
