  1. 211 LA County: The phone line is open 24 hours, 7 days a week, with trained Community Resource Advisors prepared to offer help with any situation, any time. 211 LA County (or 211 LA) is the hub for community members and community organizations looking for all types of health, human, and social services in Los Angeles County. If you are calling from outside Los Angeles County or cannot directly dial 2-1-1, call (800) 339-6993.
  2. CalFresh Program: CalFresh is for people with low-income who meet federal income eligibility rules and want to add to their budget to put healthy and nutritious food on the table. Beginning June 1, 2019, recipients of SSI/SSP benefits may be eligible for CalFresh Food benefits for the first time! There is no change to the SSI/SSP monthly benefit.
  3. Financial Help Information: The State of California has numerous ways benefits and programs you may benefit from if you have been financially effected by COVID-19. Please visit their website to see what assistance is currently available. 
  4. Grocery Stores: The City has complied a list of grocery stores open within San Gabriel. It includes any special hours they may have.
  5. Restaurants: The team in the City’s Economic Development Department has created an up to date list of take-out, delivery and drive-thru restaurants within the City.
