Join the San Gabriel Community Services Department for the Dia de los Muertos festivities. Registration is required for the altar viewing and drive-in concert. Masks and social distancing is required. For registration, information or questions regarding this event, please contact the Community Services Department at (626)308-2875.

San Gabriel Community Altar Photo Submission

Honor your deceased loved one in this cultural tradition by submitting a photo to include on San Gabriel's Community Altar. Send San Gabriel resident photo submissions to calatorre@sgch.org by Tuesday, November 2. All photo submissions will be placed on the Community Altar for viewing on Thursday, November 4. One registration per household is required in order to view the altar.  

San Gabriel Community Altar Viewings

Experience the cultural tradition of Dia de los Muertos by visiting San Gabriel's Community Altar. The altar is located at Grapevine Arbor Park, 324 S. Mission Drive from 4:00 pm to 8:30pm. This vibrant altar is intended to honor and remember the loved ones of San Gabriel residents who have passed. Only one registration per household is required.

Drive In Concert

Celebrate with the City of San Gabriel as we honor this cultural tradition with live music. From the front seat of your car, lawn chair, or tailgate, sing along and dance as the live music will lift your spirits and help us celebrate this cultural tradition. One registration per car is required.

Bring your family to join us in the Dia de los Muertos cultural celebration by decorating calaveras, sugar skulls. This al fresco event will be held in the vibrantly transformed Grapevine. Space is limited!
