Kevin B. Sawkins
Elected to the City Council in 2005 after seven years on the City’s Planning Commission, Kevin B. Sawkins represents both plaintiffs and defendants in a broad range of civil matters including business disputes, real estate matters, serious personal injury/wrongful death cases and other civil litigation matters. His law firm, Sawkins and Albert, is located in the historic Mission District. In addition to his law degree, Sawkins has a degree in urban and regional planning. He was instrumental in the effort to adopt the City’s new general plan in 2004.
Mr. Sawkins, a native of San Gabriel, is active in the community, serving on the board of directors of several area non-profit organizations including La Casa de San Gabriel Community Center, of which he is former Board Chair; and Rotary Club of San Gabriel, for which he is former Rotary president.
