Shop San Gabriel

The holidays are here, which means we have arrived at the busiest shopping season of the year. When shopping for the perfect gift, you don't have to go far. There are plenty of places to get something for everyone on your list right in San Gabriel.

Research shows that for every $100 spent at a locally owned business, more than $45 stays in the local economy, creating jobs and expanding the city’s tax base.

You can find some suggestions on where to shop in the city's interactive Holiday Guide map below. You can even warm up to some delicious hot pot, ramen or hot cocoa at one of the many fine San Gabriel restaurants and cafes while shopping around the city! Plus, the map shows some great spots to see holiday lights throughout the community.

So "Shop San Gabriel" this holiday season, and share your purchases using the #ShopSanGabriel tag on social media. If you have ideas to add to the list, email lgold@sgch.org.

Santa Parade

In a unique and fun San Gabriel tradition, see Santa Claus tour every single street in the city from Dec. 20-23. He spreads the holiday cheer from 5:30-9:30 p.m. each night, riding atop the Fire Department's historic 1957 Mack Fire Engine.
