The City does not allow vehicles to be parked on the street between 2:00 am and 6:00 am without a parking permit. Parking permits can be obtained from the Finance Department during regular business hours. Copies of the registrations of all vehicles in the household are required. Apartment residents must have their apartment owner or manager sign the parking permit application indicating the number of parking spaces assigned to the apartment unit.

Only passenger vehicles and light trucks registered with a California license plate are allowed to park on the City's streets. All other vehicles including RVs, trailers, commercial trucks or any vehicles with any advertisement on them are not permitted to park on the street whether or not they have purchased a permit.

City Hall sells six month and one year parking permits only. Temporary parking permits may be purchased for a $3.00 nightly fee from one of the two 24 hour
vending machines in the City. There is a machine in front of the police station at 625 S. Del Mar (corner of Mission and Del Mar) and one in front of the Parks &
Recreation Building at 650 S. Mission Dr. (corner of Mission Dr. & Broadway.)

Please see Parking Permit Application Package for more regulations and instructions or call 626-308-2812 during normal business hours..
