Forms FAQ’s Contact Us RETURN TO CITY SERVICES Tuesday, December 5, 6:00pm at Plaza Park. Everyone is invited to help kick off the holiday season at this annual event. The celebration will include live entertainment, refreshments and the decorating of the tree. The tree will be lighted at 7:00pm to officially welcome the holiday season. Following the lighting of the tree, Santa will arrive on a vintage fire truck to pay a visit to all of the children. There is no charge for this activity, which is sponsored by the Women's Division of the San Gabriel Chamber of Commerce. Please bring an unopened non-perishable food item for the San Gabriel Coordinating Council's Christmas Basket Program and a homemade ornament to place on the city Christmas tree.
