Fire Chief Joseph B. Nestor would like to welcome you to our website. It is our hope that you will find this site both informative and useful.
Joseph Nestor was appointed Fire Chief in June 2002. Chief Nestor came to San Gabriel after a 32-year career with the Pasadena Ca. Fire Department. During his career with Pasadena, Chief Nestor moved up through all the ranks in the department including time as a paramedic. At the time he left Pasadena, Chief Nestor was the Fire Marshal for the city and was also the fire department liaison to the Tournament of Roses. Chief Nestor is a native of Inglewood and has lived his whole life in Southern California
