Mr. Zeisel manages the operations of the Building Division and provides expertise in areas involving interpretation of local ordinances, records management, code adoption, and with new development in our community.

Mr. Cornejo began his career in the Aerospace industry as a graduate from Cal State LA and later changed to the building and construction industry. Mr. Cornejo has been performing plan reviews for residential and commercial projects since 1977, most recently as a private consultant. Mr. Cornejo currently performs the majority of all plan reviews received by the building division.

Mr. Lamothe brings a wealth of experience to the Building and Safety Division with having over 24 years experience in the electrical and construction field. He successfully completed a 4-year electrical apprenticeship program as well as studied in general drafting. Mr. Lamothe conducts the daily inspections which consist of residential, commercial and industrial calls. In addition, he is responsible for conducting occupancy inspections, emergency investigations, and responds to city complaints.

Mr. Lamothe is out in the field most of the day, but do feel free to stop by in the morning, between 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. or in the afternoon, between 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. to say hello or to discuss questions related to ongoing projects.

Teresa began her career in the Public Sector, as a Building Clerk for the City of Monterey Park in 1997 after 7 years as an Irrigation Design Supervisor for a Landscape Company. She obtained her Certification as a Permit Technician in 1999. She accepted a position as Permit Tech./Counter Plan Check with the City of Rancho Cucamonga in 2001 in order to gain experience in large development projects of Commercial and Residential. She obtained her Building Inspector Certification in 2002. She desired to return to a city in the San Gabriel Valley. She obtained her current position with the City of San Gabriel in 2003. She conducts counter Plan Checks, answers Building Code Questions, Calculates Permits fees, Issues Permits, Maintains Building Division reports and records, processes and routes Plan Checks for Building and Engineering Divisions.
