The historic San Gabriel Mission Playhouse, 320 South Mission Drive San Gabriel, CA.
Constructed in 1927 to house John Steven McGroarty’s epic Mission Play (charting the establishment of the California missions), the San Gabriel Mission Playhouse is a beautiful Spanish-style building steeped in history that has been home to thousands of music, theatre, and dance performances.
An Ideal Venue for Performance

In Fall 2014, the Mission Playhouse launched a new program, the Community Engagement Program. Community Engagement projects offer the public a way to connect with the arts and artists, often for free. Events range from plays to free concerts, exhibits, discussions, and workshops.
