2017 Registration Dates & Times

May 22    Register in person only at the Recreation Office (Mon-Fri), from 8:00 am-4:30 pm, extended hours Tuesdays until 6pm
May 24    Phone registration begins (Mon-Fri), Recreation Office (626) 308-2875
June 6     At Smith Park Pool (Wed-Sat) 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm and 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

To register for L.2 Seals class or higher, present a Red Cross Card or Smith Park Pool Report Card at the time of registration. 
Registration is permitted for 1 session at a time, until class is filled.  Adults must register for children. 
Cycle 1-5 Fee: $35, *Cycle 3: $33 (no lessons 7/4)  NO REFUNDS
Make-up Policy:  If any class is cancelled due to public health, safety, or mechanical issues, every attempt will be made to reschedule.           Swim Class Schedule

Skills Testing

Skills testing will be available to determine the appropriate class level for your child.  Lifeguard instructors will be present to evaluate your child.  Make sure to bring a swim suit and towel!

Instructor's Aide

If you or your child are interested in becoming a Swim Lesson Instructor's Aide, you can volunteer this summer!  To volunteer you must be at least 11 years old and have a Red Cross Level 4 Card.  Instructor's Aides assist lifeguards with Tadpoles through Starfish classes.  All aides must complete a Volunteer Application Packet available online or at our office.  Training session will be held:
