Citywide Yard Sale
2019 Spring Cleaning
Take part in the City of San Gabriel Citywide Yard Sale, visit with your neighbors, and help the environment by reducing waste and keeping valuable resources out of landfills. The fewer materials we send to the landfill, the fewer natural resources we waste and the more money you can make at your sale. Hold a sale of your own, coordinate with neighbors for a block sale, or use this as an opportunity to raise funds for a community group or charity. The City is encouraging neighbors to work together to hold block or multifamily sales as they tend to draw more attention from customers and it allows for a great opportunity to get to know your neighbors. Whether you’re trying to clear out your attic or garage, or you’re searching for secondhand treasures, the weekend will be fun for everyone. Participation does not count against the City’s limit of two garage sale permits per year.
Citywide Yard Sale (NO Permit Required)
On Saturday April 6 and Sunday April 7, 2019 participate in the citywide yard sale! Make some money by selling your personal items on this weekend and no permit is required for this weekend only. Please have all yard sale signs removed by the evening of Sunday April 7th. Invite your neighbors and family to participate and get your block involved. No registration or permit is required for this weekend. Any leftover bulky items or electronic items that you did not sell and you want to get rid of, please bring to the Clean-Up Day on the following Saturday!
